CCC is an umbrella organization of fine craft guilds in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. The CCC sponsors a juried biennial exhibition that is open to any artist residing in these areas, to all members of any sponsoring guild regardless of residence, and to any students attending school in these areas.
The first Biennial Exhibition (in 1954) and the next five, were held in the Smithsonian Institution’s Museum of Natural History. Since then, the Exhibition has been held at museums and galleries throughout the region.
Our next event is planned for June 2011 - our next juried show. Details for entries are found below.
Our sponsoring guilds are the National Capital Art Glass Guild, the Ceramic Guild, Montgomery Potters, Washington Guild of Goldsmiths, The Kiln Club, National Enamelist Guild, Potomac Craftsmen Fiber Arts Guild, and the Fiber Arts Study Group.
